Wasps differ from bees by the fact
that they have no hair and no wax producing
glands. Because of this, wasps either live solitary in burrows, create nests
from mud or produce paper pulp nests from a substance primarily made from
wood fibers, which they soften by chewing, mix with saliva and consequently use to make combs with
cells, typically in sheltered areas. |
