The escutcheon of
Nakhon Pathom shows the
Phra Pathom Chedi (fig.). In the middle is the
crown of victory (chadah) with the Thai number
4 (๔). The original
chedi was 'restored'
Rama IV by covering it with the present one. This Buddhist
sanctuary is an important place of worship in
Thailand. |
