The Buddhist park Phuttha Uthayaan Pathum Nagaraat in Roi Et is revered for its divine Naga couple Grandfather Naga King Thibodih Sri Sutthoh and Grandmother Mae Yah Naga Queen Sri Pathumma.

 

This site serves as an important Buddhist centre for worship, pilgrimage, and cultural expression, featuring various mythological and Buddhist sculptures, such as these statues of Thao Wetsuwan.

It also features  and a large blue tortoise, which is typically associated with the revered monk Luang Poo Thuad (fig.), who is frequently depicted sitting or standing on a tortoise in artistic representations.

 

Pathum Nakharat Buddha Park also features an open pavilion with a small altar, where a Buddhist monk welcomes visitors and blesses them by tying a piece of red yarn around their wrists, akin to the white sai sin.
