The white and golden stupa or chedi of Wat Pah Sorayoh Ban Khum Din, a forest temple in Khon Kaen (fig.), is built on an elevation adjacent to the temple's main chapel.

 

This Buddhist  edifice, known as Phrathat Chedi Manja Khiri Sri Sorayoh, has multiple staircases that lead to the higher levels of this pagoda, where the balconies offer panoramic views of the wider area.

The platform on the top level of the pagoda allows for the best views and reveals the extend of the temple's surroundings, that consists for the most part  of a vast wooded area.
